COMMUNITY PARTNER

ROLE

As Project Silence No More expands, we are looking for dedicated community members to help plan and execute new projects. Potential responsibilities may include scheduling, community outreach, fundraising, and marketing. Community Partners will be expected to attend our virtual monthly team meeting, as well as smaller group meetings for specific projects.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

We encourage applications from any Iowa community members in college or beyond who have an interest in mental health, event planning, communications, marketing, or simply have a passion for our cause. Community Partners should have skills in taking initiative and maintaining accountability, and must be able to initiate and maintain contact with others in a timely, consistent, and positive manner.

DETAILS

We will be accepting applications for this position indefinitely. Although it is unpaid, the work is rewarding and the hours are flexible. If you hold a full-time position which offers incentives for volunteer time, your time with us should qualify for this.

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants should send a statement of interest, resume, and contact information (name, phone number, and email) for two references (work supervisors, past professors, etc.) to Anjali Dhawan at anjali.dhawan@projectsilencenomore.org.
